Navigon Gps Update
I own a Navigon 2100 which has SD card with maps of Canada, AK, HI & PR & was going to install the 1.2 software update to it which I had already done to my 5100. I contacted Navigon tech support & was told that if I installed the 2100 update, I might lose the extra maps as the 2100 only came with the 48 contiguous states maps to start with. I asked the tech rep about downloading the 5100 software update to the 2100 & he could not tell me if it would work or not. Does anyone know if the 5100 software update would work with the 2100 without harm? Thanks.

- Save the files on a new or separate card and try it out. If it dowsn't work just have to reinsert the original card.
